Her photography style is a casual and journalistic composition with artistic flair, adding creativity to ordinary photos. Her focus is on natural lifestyle adventures for those expecting, those who just welcomed a new little one into the world, spunky children full of sugar and spice, families from all walks of life, high school seniors getting ready to venture into the world, and competitive young athletes who are fresh out of the dugout. She captures moments that tells a story to document your memories. 

The adventure started in 2007 after leaving the corporate world to become a stay at home mom while living in Pleasanton, CA. Her background is very scientific yet photography was always her passion. She learned dark room techniques from photographing electron microscopic images in graduate school. Later her career ventured into becoming an expert in digital fluorescent microscopic imaging working for various biotech companies and mentoring those in the pharma industry on the techniques of High Content Screening using automated digital imaging systems. Once her home adventures sprouted, she began learning the true art of photography. She attended the Golden Gate School of Photography in the San Francisco Bay Area. Joined the Professional Photographers of the Greater Bay Area and became a board member promoting professional photography. Moving cross country to the state of New York, she brings a fresh new flair of photographic imaging that has a unique wholesome artistic style.

Denise is a mom of three wonderful children, a wife to an adoring husband, a friend to many, a family member born and raised in small town Minnesota. Life has its glorious moments; let her be there to help you capture them.

Denise currently resides in Corning, NY.  She has a small studio in her home and a large outdoor studio of 6 acres in her backyard.  She provides photography on location throughout the FingerLakes Region, San Francisco, Pittsburgh, and Boston.
